Born July 21, 1946 in Vernon, TX and raised in San Antonio, Kenneth Starr graduated from George Washington with a Bachelor’s degree and Brown University with a Master’s degree before finally obtaining his law degree from the Duke University Law School. Starr has served on a variety of high-positioned law committees for the United States legal system, including the American Law Institute, the Institute for United States Studies, and the American Bar Association Journal Board of Editors. Still, it is for none of these tasks that Kenneth Starr will probably be remembered and revered for. Rather, he played an influential role in taking down a President in one of the most publicized sexual scandals to ever rock the White House.

Starr Brings Down Clinton

Who had President Bill Clinton’s name plastered across newspapers for months following his alleged sexual fling with a White House intern? Kenneth Starr, of course, who put together a well documented, researched, and written study that basically took down President Clinton and his denial of a sexual relationship with White House intern Monica Lewinsky. Starr, the outspoken conservative prosecutor put in charge of the federal investigation of Bill Clinton, successfully reduced the aura of the former President by exposing his relationship with Miss Lewinsky to the American public, even after Clinton had publicly denied the “sexual relations” in one of his most famous public interviews.

Aftermath of Starr’s Accusations

In the aftermath of the Whitewater and Monica Lewinsky scandal in Washington, D.C., Kenneth Starr has served as a public speaker, who speaks at public functions about the troubles that he endured when investigating the President of the United States. In another well-publicized case, Starr has struck media gold by attempting to cut the Microsoft giant in half through establishing and judging anti-trust laws in the United States. Starr also continues to practice law and serves as the Dean of the Law School at Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA.
